My NS Gathering.. 10th May

A short post with few photo.

Venue: Mizi Bistro, New World Park
Time: 7pm << count Malaysia time please.
Date: 10th May 08.

As stated above, it's on 10th May. And I heard from a lot of my friends telling me that I choose the wrong date. Duh.. I din't check Chinese calender, I don't know that day was a good day for wedding. So end up with few people attend this gathering.

Yeap this crappy gathering was so call organize by ME.
For the 3rd time I plan this. I feel lazy already. The feedback from others always bad.

As usual, there will be some people complaining. That I choose wrong place as well.
Always, I will be the smelly people (bad people). I got blame of everything for the gathering.

But what dissapoint me is, they know there is gathering but they don't want join us. They rather go somewhere else. etc clubbing.

So in the end, it turn up with the same people. And again, the worst thing was.. my "company" thats what they call in NS.. Only me and another one. But the rest, cannot come.
I just don't understand why some of them ask me when going to have gathering but they din't turn up for this. Sienzz.

Anyway, for those who never been Mizi Bistro before, I am proudly to introduce you to try in this Restaurant??? The food is really.. really... really.... really.... worth! Why I say so...

For RM19.90. You can order:

1) Any of the main course except Salmon n Beef for additional RM6
2) A drinks - juice or tea
3) Soup - The soup here is nice. Especially mushroom soup
4) Dessert of the day - Normally is self scoop ice cream.. eat till u fat :D

So what you think? btw.. the main course they serve are in big portion. Ermm which could make sure that you will be full by the time you having your dessert. No regret for sure.

Anyway.. this is not a paid advertising from them. I just introduce to you all that never been there b4. Just wait for anyone to treat me there :D Haha

Mancy Birthday

One of my NS friend's birthday. Real birthday was today, 15th April. But she celebrate early last week. Din't expect she will invite me to go. Hehe. Anyway, here's the story.

Guan fetch me there, I brought da A200 to go with me. So A200 1st day "outing" with me. Unfortunately, I choose the wrong time. I forget that I am weak @ night photography. No proper flash attach, so In the end, photo all screw up =.=
So, don't have much good photo. Just this.. The bday gurl with her grandma? Haha

N.S Pt2 : Preparation

There are few things that you must do before attend NS. Haha special for reader's who don't have experience before. Maybe this can help your siblings. ^^

1) Make sure which camp you are in.
2) Make sure you go for Health Check Up. Just incase you got ...
3) You must have a Bank Pertanian Account. They will pay your allowance thru this bank. No Maybank.. No other bank.

Things that you should bring:
1) Daily use item, e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, anything that for your cleaniness.
2) A bucket/pail. Incase you don't have time to wash your clothing, you may DIP you dirty clothing overnight or before you handwash it.
3) Yes, your personal clothing you got to wash yourself. Only those uniform provide by them you can send to DOBI.
4) Hanger for hanging your cloth and a lock to lock your locker.
5) Some food like biscuit, maggi, snack just incase you are hungry at the middle of night.
6) If you scare of sunburn, why not bring along "sunburn cream" Aiya, that one apply before you go enjoy under SUN one la.
7) If you hate mosquito, you can bring mosquito repellent as well. The best is use ELECTRICAL one la.
8) For guy, you better don't bring comb, because you will be BOTAK! For gurl, please bring comb lo. I dont think they allow hairdryer.
9) Almost forget, toilet paper rolllll.
10) Guitar if you can play them. Your PEN and PENCIL sketch book/ diary.

Things that you can bring but not necessary:
1) Handphone (depends on some camp, the JURULATIH will keep and only allow to use on weekend.)
2) Extra Cash (just keep the amount you need in your wallet. If you bring alot, keep it in safe place.)
3) Chain, Ring or any valuable accessories. (things like this easy to get LOST)
4) Camera/ Videocam (depends on you)
5) MP3/ MP4 Player and Speaker.

Things that you should not bring:
1) Expensive thing/ Valuable thing.
2) Laptop, unless your camp provide wi-fi for you to BLOG? It's totally impossible
3) Food which is TAK HALAL. As you know, NS is Multi-racial program. So.. No PORK.. No PORKU..

Things I listed above doesnt mean that 100% must follow. It's depends on individual needs. And it is based on my experience there.


Next, for guys, if you want to save RM5 to cut your hair before NS. You can get free haircut at camp on the first day.
For my time, good thing is I got friends that completed NS. So they did help me and telling me what need or no need to bring there.
Day before the real day, went out with my band friend for some fun before I am officially GROUNDED inside NS. =.=,

Recall of Memory N.S. Pt1

Still remember 2 years ago. Nope Should be say during 2005, before I am having my SPM. I was once thought that I will be selected for National Service.

And great, I was really selected. I don't have much worry about NS. Also don't have the feel that

I don't want to attend NS. I am a band member, so really Co-co in school does help me not to scare of attending NS.

NS was not anything scary anyway. It depends where to put you at. I got located at Kem Sri

Impian, Sg. Bakap. Can't believe that camp was the camp that my band went to perform for their "GRADUATION" in 2004. I got take part in my band too.

The outlook of the Camp is totally different compare 2006 and 2004.

Well you see, when a person receive a msg or when they check the list.
They got this:
"Tahniah, anda telah dipilih menyertai Program Latihan Khidmat Negara"!!

Most of them will say, die liao la.. selected for NS. Don't want to go la..

Yet, got news show that before they leave their family at the bus station, they will cry because they 不捨得 their family.

But after they finish their 3 month training in the camp. They will cry again because of 不捨得 NS friends.

The most imporatant is, they got 3 month sweet memories back follow them to their home.
